Job Summary
The Structural Engineer will interface with clients, develop schematic and final designs, coordinate with in-house disciplines, and lead design efforts across various projects while mentoring staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities
- Work on multiple project teams to successfully complete projects
- Develop designs through all project phases
- Prepare studies, reports, and construction documents
- Design building materials and systems
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors
- Oversee drawing production, specifications, and documentation
- Coordinate with internal disciplines (MEP, etc.)
- Conduct field surveys and site evaluations
- Perform construction administration (RFIs, submittals, inspections)
- Manage budgets and schedules
- Handle multiple simultaneous projects
- Collaborate with leadership on organizational goals
- Recommend new technologies and improvements
- Ensure alignment with company vision and client expectations
- Perform IBC code reviews and establish design criteria
- Review shop drawings and prepare reports
- Prepare AIA Masterspec documents and estimates
